Objective #4: From your research so far, describe the differences in jobs available to individuals with no education beyond high school and those with education at schools such as technical/professional schools, junior colleges, or four-year colleges and universities. Will any of the careers you are considering require a graduate degree beyond four years of college?
Sometimes a degree or a certification is the ticket you need for entry into an occupation or a profession. From your research you should have found out about differences in job responsibilities and differences in average pay for those with and without post high school education. Having the required education or credentials does not guarantee that there will be a job waiting for you when you graduate. In step 2 you learned whether your career interests are in areas of growing need or declining need.
